Fashion, everyday word, so common in use yet so difficult to define. Fashion is an art of presenting or carrying ourselves through our clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup & hairstyle. Fashion is a science as it involves development and keeps on changing. Changes in fashion may incur due to cinema, celebrities, climate, creative explorations, political, economics & social factors.
The world is fast-moving and volatile. In this article, I’ll give you some ideas on what’s hot and what’s not in the world of fashion at the moment, as well as some tips on how to create your own unique look while you’re at it!
History
The first modern fashion designer was Charles Fredrick Worth. He was from England. He is said to be the “father of fashion.” He was the first to use live models, thus inventing the “fashion shows.” Until the 19th century, fashion companies used dolls instead of models. In earlier days clothes were typically made from plants, animal skins and bones. Since the 16th century, Milan had been regarded as the fashion capital of the world.
Contemporary
In today’s time fashion is not just restricted to bellbottom jeans or puff sleeves, it now includes evolution in technology from mechanical watches to smart watches, from pager to mobile phones.
Fashion helps a person to identify himself. It helps a person to define himself in terms of his nature & character.
Fashion differs based on age, occupation, sexual orientation, location, and social class. Fashion carries a power to change the world, to redefine the industry, and to become a role model for others. Fashion is always changing, slightly elusive, and extremely seductive.
Humanity Is an Important Fashion to Carry
In my opinion fashion should not be restricted to clothing, technology, or the changing pattern of the economies, it shall also include human aspects.
Being a good human being, having a good character, being honest is also a fashion sense to carry. Good and ethical behavior, helping people in need, thinking for others, being selfless is a crucial fashion sense to carry which most of us do not even consider.
Fashionable By Heart
99% crowd is fashionable by clothes but only 1% crowd in this world is fashionable by heart.
We being good citizens must expand the meaning of fashion by including concepts like humanity & selflessness. So next time we meet someone we are not going to show off our branded clothes & expensive jewelry to disclose our fashion sense we are going to show our fashion sense by being a good human being
